At Harwood Hill we realise that starting school is a momentous milestone for children and parents alike.  Prior to the children starting, we arrange a number of occasions in which we get to meet the children, to make transition process as easy and smooth as possible.  These include: Early Years staff doing home visits, visiting pre-schools/nurseries during the Summer term prior to then children starting, conversations with pre-school/nursery staff, organising times when the children can visit their new setting and a welcome meeting for new parents.
