• Early Years - staggered start information - September 2022

  Welcome to Harwood Hill!

                                           

  I am sorry that you were not able to join our welcome meeting yesterday. I have since learned that some people have not received the information packs that were sent out last month; the packs all went to the Post Office and I sincerely apologise if for some reason you didn’t receive one.

   

  We want all of our families to feel welcome at Harwood Hill and I have therefore enclosed all of the information that you may have missed with this letter. If you would still like your child to join us at Harwood Hill, I would be very grateful if you could complete the enclosed forms and return them to the school office before the end of term on Thursday 21^st July. This will enable us to ensure we are ready to welcome your child in September and have important information such as contact details and medical needs.

   

  I will repeat the information meeting for anyone who missed it on Monday 5^th September at 2pm but in the meantime, the timetable for the start of term will be as follows.

   

  Day	Morning	Afternoon
  Monday 5th September	Stay and Play 9 am – 11am All early years children are welcome to join us with a parent or carer to settle in to the new classroom and meet our early years team. There is no obligation to stay all morning.	2pm Repeat of the early years information meeting
  Tuesday 5th September – Friday 9th September	All early years children in school. Start 0840 Finish 1140	Early years team will arrange to catch up with any families they have not met
  Monday 12th September – Friday 16th September ongoing	All early years children in school. Start 0840 Nursery age children finish 1140	School age children stay for lunch and finish 3.05pm

Please note that the school office will not be open during the school holiday so emails and messages left after this time will be answered when term starts for staff on 1^st September.

   

  If you have decided not to join Harwood Hill, please email us as soon as possible so that we can offer the place to someone else.
