I became a Governor in the early part of 2017 after having read in the papers that schools often need Governors with additional skills in finance. As I live in the area, I was introduced to Harwood Hill and having visited the school, I was keen to try and help where I could. Since joining, I have grown very fond of Harwood Hill and am very impressed with the dedication of the staff, and the effort being put in to making the school a great place for children to learn and develop.
In my ‘day job’ I work as Finance Director of a London based restaurant group, so I am well versed with many of the issues facing the school – and not just the financial ones.
In my role as a governor of the school I can confirm that I have no business interests connected to the school, nor am I a governor at any other school.
